PSBR Attorneys Panish and Chang Awarded Prestigious Consumer Attorney of the Year Award
On November 15, 2014, Panish | Shea | Ravipudi LLP attorneys Brian Panish and Deborah Chang, along with co-counsel Gregory Bentley of Shernoff Bidart Echeverria Bentley and Gregory R. Vanni of Thon Beck Vanni Callahan & Powell were presented with the Consumer Attorneys of California’s 2014 Consumer Attorneys of the Year award. The honor was given to the attorneys in recognition of their extraordinary work in the case Solorio v. Lincoln Composites, et al. , which settled for a confidential amount earlier this year. The Solorio case involved defective compressed natural gas vessels – two of which exploded, injuring the firms’ clients – and brought national attention to the issue of the vessels’ safety and regulation.
The award was presented at the Saturday award’s dinner at CAOC’s annual convention in San Francisco.
