Panish | Shea | Ravipudi LLP Obtains a $4 Million Settlement for The Children of Woman Hit by Bus

PSBR attorneys Adam Shea and Andrew Owen obtained a $4,000,000 settlement for the four children of a 72-year-old woman who was hit and killed by a San Francisco Muni bus as she was lawfully crossing within a marked crosswalk. The woman, a Daly City, California resident, was struck by an outbound 18-46th Avenue bus at about 4:30 p.m. at Lake Merced Blvd and John Muir Drive which falls on the border between San Francisco and Daly City. In addition to claims of negligence against the bus driver and San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency , PSBR alleged claims against the City and County of San Francisco and the Daly City related to the unsafe road design at the intersection where the woman was killed.
