A Florida man has created an application that he hopes will combat texting and driving. The app, called “Free Safe Text,” sends automated responses to people who text a driver. The phone will also not make any sound during this time in order to promote safer driving. The app kicks in once the driver reaches a speed of at least 10 miles per hour.
