Last weekend found police in Stockton, California taking part in a Motorcycle Safety Enforcement Operation. Officers increased their presence in those areas that motorcyclists tend to descend on in high numbers. In addition to dangerous riding behavior, officers were paying particular attention to automobile operators whose actions compromised the safety of people on motorcycles. Intoxicated driving was targeted in particular.
