Asheville, North Carolina is joining the ranks of cities that are checking to make sure that their citizens are keeping their children restrained properly in the correct safety seats while in automobiles. Safe Kids Western North Carolina wants parents to understand the danger presented when a child is not properly buckled up, and they want to keep tragedy from affecting local citizens. They hope to accomplish that goal by putting on a car seat check this weekend.
