Texting while behind the wheel has been the cause of a growing number of traffic accidents, which is why AT & T and San Jose officials are campaigning to inform people of the danger associated with the practice. The Police Chief of San Jose said texting is especially prevalent among teens but that everyone within the area of a distracted driver is placed in harm’s way. A gathering at City Hall was meant to bring awareness to the “It Can Wait” campaign.
