The commissioner of Canyon, Texas did not feel it was right to ban texting and driving within the city limits, saying that he believed the government was overstepping its bounds with such a law. Remarks from the community have changed his opinion though, and Canyon has decided to ban texting and driving after all. Texting and driving is a serious problem in America and has led to many car accidents.
