Two Saf-T-Liner C2 Thomas Built School Buses of the 2013 model year have been recalled by Daimler Trucks North America because of a defect within the vehicles’ front axle knuckles. A machining error during manufacturing of these components could lead the spindle to fail, and should this happen, the wheel could separate and impede safe vehicle operation. Owners should be contacted by August 11, and components will be replaced by dealers.
