Regal Lager Announces Recall of Booster Seats

Posted on January 19, 2012

According to news sources, Regal Lager has announced on July 23, 2010 the recall of certain models of its Cybex Soution X-Fix Booster Seats. The warning statement affixed to the headrest and appearing in the manual fails to state that an unoccupied booster seat must be secured.

The recall affects about 881 units of the child booster seats. Failure to properly secure the booster seat may cause the seat to be thrown around the vehicle in cases of sharp turns, sudden stops, or crash, potentially injuring vehicle occupants in the process.

Regal Lager will begin notifying consumers about the recent recall and will reportedly provide a free replacement label to be affixed over the old incorrect one. Consumers can also expect to receive a new owners manual along with the new label, free of charge.  For more information regarding this recall, consumers can contact Regal lager at 1-800-593-5522.
