According to news sources, an allergy alert has been issued to alert consumers about possible allergens included in certain Velvet Creme Popcorn Co. products after milk, soy and wheat were confirmed to have been discovered.

The products included in the allergy alert are the Velvet Creme Peanut Brittle, the Velvet Creme Tail Gate Crunch and the Velvet Creme Sweet Cajun Heat. Only the Peanut Brittle packages contain milk allergens, while the other two products contain soy and wheat. There are no lot codes for these products however the affected packages would have been purchased before December 13, 2011.

There have been no illnesses reported to date.
